PERSEID was born out of work done in the field, not only out of an idea on paper. For four years Shebenik was where the experiences that laid the foundations of Star Campers Albania took shape. Visitors' interest grew, the activities involved thousands of people and the initiative expanded to other destinations in Albania. In 2026 this experience became part of the vision of PERSEID, registered as a non-profit organization by court decision.
Behind each story are years of work: knowledge of the terrain, organising activities, investing in equipment, collaborating with the people of the area and the desire to give Albanian destinations more attention. These experiences showed us that tourism, education, innovation and care for the environment can develop together.

The work continues
None of these steps came about immediately. They were built with years of activities, with effort in the field, with investments and with collaborations. PERSEID takes this experience as a starting point for its work as a non-profit organization: to develop new ideas in tourism, to create educational opportunities for young people and to work with communities for destinations that are more known and more carefully treated.
