Three nights on the Via Egnatia

Three nights on the ancient Roman road, where heritage and astrotourism turned out to fit together naturally.

The activity on the Via Egnatia lasted three nights. The time spent together gave participants the chance to experience more than a single evening of observation: the journey, the stay in nature, the history of the road and the conversations that start when people discover a place at a slower pace.

This experience showed us how naturally heritage and astrotourism can be linked. The Via Egnatia was part of the history that visitors took home with them. For PERSEID this is a valuable direction: to create experiences that invite people to get to know nature and heritage, while opening opportunities for local services and hospitality.
