Back to Kael Farm

A return to the Shebenik area and to Kael Farm, with local and international visitors camping and observing the sky.

After expanding across Albania, the return to the Shebenik area, to Kael Farm, was a special moment. Local and international visitors came together for camping, telescope observation and time together in nature. It was a return to the place where everything started, now with more experience and a community of participants built over the years.

The activity also showed the value of collaborating with a local guesthouse owner. When an experience is tied to accommodation and the hospitality of the area, visitors get to know more of the destination and the benefit spreads further. PERSEID wants to strengthen this link in its work with rural tourism and communities.
