A project won through the TIP programme with GIZ support: marking around 27 km of trail and improving the information for walkers.
Our experience in natural destinations has shown that promotion has to be accompanied by concrete work in the field. As part of a project won through the TIP programme, with the support of GIZ, we worked on marking the Steblevë–Rrajcë trail. The work included orientation along an itinerary of about 27 kilometres and improving the information for anyone who wants to walk it.
This project shows another side of PERSEID’s direction. A clearer trail can help visitors explore the area more safely and give more visibility to the places and the people along the route. It is a step that links nature tourism with local development and with care in the way a destination is used.
